The online literary magazine qarrtsiluni has a great new "best of the blogs" issue up today, featuring best work from an array of literate blogs. I've just begun to read through it, but already I'm honored to see my old Canadian thanksgiving post in such impressive company. One of California's great nature and science writers is there, too, with a near-death encounter on the front line of plate tectonics.
