I don't really understand what declaring the city dead or living does. Are they restricting access to it? Will they always? I thought Bush has now made that big leap of faith of declaring that they'll rebuild it. (Don't ask me how). The whole issue is confusing, but I had wanted to visit New Orleans someday. Regardless of what's going on, I doubt I'll ever get to see what was known as New Orleans, or anything close to it.
